Here at the cigar bank, one of our more memorable wine Down wednesday events was Chamrock Soiree hosted by Dalton Pouliot. During this event, our guests dressed up in their favorite green and gold attire to have a little early saint patrick celebration since it is around the corner. At this event Dalton brought back two fan favorite wines, which were a cabernet sauvignon by 14 Hands and a chardonnay by Brownstone Distilering. The 14 Hands was very popular for its versatile pairing with almost any cigar pallet while the Chardoney was a great pair mainly for mild to medium body cigars with floral and sweet notes.
As the event took place, many conversations were sparked throughout the event, which created great networking opportunities for others while mainly bringing people together over the great relaxation and ambiance Wine Down Wednesday has to offer. Dalton also went around to greet the new guests, while also checking in on others to ask how their cigars paired with the wine selections. During this time many customers shared their opinions on certain wines that they would love to see in future events while also sharing their love for the culture of Wine Down Wednesday.
