The Rico family, known for their iconic Gran Habano cigars, has introduced a new addition to their prestigious Gran Reserva line - the Gran Habano Corojo No. 5 Gran Reserva Gran Robusto 2012 Box-Pressed. This cigar is an extension of the popular regular production Gran Habano Corojo No. 5.The Gran Habano Gran Reserva line is distinguished by its use of meticulously aged vintage tobaccos. The company prides itself on selecting the top 10% of the finest leaves from each year's crop, subjecting them to an additional seven to eight years of aging after rolling. While the typical Gran Habano Gran Reserva cigars undergo a maturation period of four to six years, the 2012 installment has been aged an extra three years longer than its predecessors.
